Books and materials are divided into 2 groups. 1. Authentic materials. Programs,magazines,newspaper,menus,films are authentic materials. They atre not graded for level and not designed for the EFL students. These materials can be more interesting and motivating for students as they are real. 2.Created materials.They are designed by the teachers and graded to the level of the students. Role-play cards,flashcards,crosswords are some of the created materials.Course books consist of student's and teacher's book and cassettes,video. When analyzing a course book the teachers should examine its price,availability,design,methodology,topic,difficulty,syllabus.
