This lesson expanded on the importance of different evaluations that can take place during the learning process. These are important to include in a class because they will help both the teacher and the learner. These tests will allow the teacher to be aware of what the students have learned. If a majority of students did not excel in one area of the study, it may give me as a teacher a sign that I need to change my teaching methods for that section, rather than thinking the students just did not understand the concept. This can also allow the learners to see their progress and areas that they are good at and areas that they personally need to focus on.
