This unit is difficult for beginners as the number of tenses is quite large and takes practice to master. Twelve tenses is a lot for students speaking another language to as some of them are used to two. Learning the present tenses will enable students to have a better grasp and understanding of the building blocks of the English language. With practice, students will be able to identify errors in grammar more readily. Hopefully just listening to poor tense choices will ring a bell in the student's memory indicating an error mas been made. Student discussions and and group interactions of this unit are most important for everyone's overall improvement.
