This unit was very informative on how to use each different type of test according to the different stages of the course. Starting with a placement test to \"place\" (for the lack of a better word) the student in the right class, then use the diagnostic test to determine what and how much of each language point the students know or don't know and thus prepare lessons accordingly to target the language points which the students can benefit most from. I would've liked to see more on how help students be comfortable during tests, especially during progress, achievement and proficiency tests. I think it's an important aspect that wasn't covered in this unit.
