Unit 10 provides videos of a lesson being taught in two different ways. Watching the videos, we can notice how the teacher's behavior affects the students and the way they learn. On the first video, the teacher doesn't show interest in the students, is very rigid, he doesn't explain new concepts or activities well. Those attitudes intimidate the students, causing them not to understand the lesson's grammatical topic. On the second video, the teacher smiles, ask the students' names, speaks clearly, and uses mimes and gestures. He structures his class in a Straight Arrow ESA lesson plan using activities that connect the three stages of the lesson smoothly.
