There are several different ways to evaluate students and where their level and progress is at. By giving tutorials a teacher is able to go over English language with the students as a group and discuss and review with them any problems. Evaluations are very helpful and by giving the students questionnaires to complete the teacher is able to get an insight on how they are coping. I have learnt of the different tests that are available. Placement tests are valuable to help place the student in the correct class level. Diagnostic tests are similar to placement but more extensive. Practice tests should be completed throughout the course to prepare students.
