From this unit i learnt the different uses of the past tense how to identify which tense is being used and the appropriate ways to construct sentence for effective expression.The common mistakes and usage problems was very helpful. this gave me an idea of what things to look out for .It is very easy to confused the different tense being used and also remembering the names of the tense and when each is most effectively applied was a challenge for me . Also making note of some of the irregular verbs was very good because students tend to add \"ed\" where it cannot be used so this unit also reminded me that its important to point out these errors to students.
