This unit is focused on the theories,methods and techniques use for effective teaching. Learners of English language who have the opportunity to live in an English speaking environment while studying have a huge advantage of mastering the language more easily.This is due to the fact that, they are surrounded by the language continuously and are able to put acquired knowledge into practice in everyday,realistic situations.Thus,many learners of English language do not have the opportunity to live in an English speaking environment while studying and thus, find it difficult to really master the language. This is because their contact with the language may be just daily, twice weekly or weekly English classes at school or at a private language institution. As a result, these student do not get the same exposure to the language and the opportunity to put it into practice. But to overcome this difficulty, a good teacher will have to follow some rules.
