I found this unit to be interesting because it goes into depth about the different types of exams and what each exam does. I was aware of placement and progress exams, but I learned that there are such things as diagnostic and external exams as well. This unit is important because it tells the teacher what types of exams and testing should be expected in their future classes.Learning to manage different types of groups that you will be teaching effectively is paramount to running a successful classroom. Being able to change your techniques when working with an individual over a large groups ill greatly help the students learning environment. Getting to know your students will also help this process and you will learn who needs a little extra help
