I learned that there are multiple exams to test the progress of my students and that each exam has a specific purposes to place, guide, and monitor students throughout the year. In the exam, you're not only learning their proficiencies, but their motivations which allows you to engage each student differently.This unit was about teaching English to students. It focussed a lot on grammar and built on unit 3, which was about ESA Lesson plans. I learned that when selecting vocabulary to teach students it is important to consider how appropriate the words are to the student/task, and the teachability of the vocabulary.
