This unit has made me understand the importance of writing and speaking greatly. It has made me realize that they are equal and should be practiced when the time is appropriate. The unit also gave me many activities to do for either speaking and writing and showed me typical ESA lessons on how to carry them out.In this unit I have reinforced my knowledge on how important different types of course materials can be. They can make a difference to all students at different levels. Authentic materials may not be as effective for beginner learners, however created materials can be easily tailored to the needs of the class.
