This unit was interesting in the fact that modal verbs are used quite frequently in spoken English. I find them to interesting to allow different subjects and actions to be talked about. Phrasal verbs show drastic ways one can be passive and use them in a clause. This unit was helpful in teaching these conceptsAs native speaker this comes naturally to us however for those learning English it can be difficult to understand the subtle changes in language. This unit provided good tables and diagrams to show the changes made. This is very useful in explaining the grammatical changes when in conditional and reported speech.
