There are times when one will be given the task of teaching diverse groups. The students may range in age or nationality, but they are all there to learn the English language. This unit tackles the possible problems with instructing different groups. There are multilingual groups composed of people who may not speak the same language, and there are business clients that are there to learn how to incorporate the language into their jobs. One must understand the groups' needs in order to properly provide them with quality education. To do this, the teacher must tailor the lessons according to the job requirements, age range, and more (as outlined in the unit).
