In this unit, we are exposed to two examples of teaching in the classroom, both good and bad. The bad one was quite unsettling to watch as the students were very uncomfortable with the behavior and methodology instituted by the teacher. His lack of attention, structure, preparedness, empathy, and understanding of his class's needs by far made this a horrible learning experience (for the students). The second video showing good teaching was very pleasant to watch. I learned a lot of good mannerisms from watching the teacher's behavior such as smiling, interesting class interactions, and appropriate and fun ways to get students to participate in the classroom.
