This unit explained the zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditional and the details of reporting speech. It gave the formation and examples of the usage for each conditional, and difficulties that students have with the conditional as well as a few ways to teach the conditional. This section was helpful to me as I naturally use the conditional in spoken English, but this unit clearly explained the formation and distinction between the different examples of the conditional. The coverage of reporting speech was helpful as well as it showed that one must consider the verb tense, the pronouns, and the words that indicate when the reported event took place.
