A good knowledge of ESA and each of its phases' possible activities is needed in order to understand this unit. Introducing new vocabulary, grammatical structures and language function should be done in accordance with the students' level. Since grammar, language functions and vocabulary are all needed to speak english, I believe the teacher should vary between all of them so learners could use what they learn in the previous lesson and built up the three branches little by little. I would avoid elaborate grammatical structures or intangible vocabulary with lower level students as explaining their meaning would generally require even more unknown vocabulary.
