The third unit covers, initially, what different major teaching methodologies there are and the pros and cons of each of them. The rest of the material is about the ESA structure specifically, how to correctly deal with each stage and not, as well as a section regarding correction and feedback. Along with this, there are a number of a suggestions of activities for each individual stage.In the present unit I learnt how to target a lesson to vocabulary, grammar and language functions. When teaching the fisrt two, it is reccommended to use the 'straight arrow' ESA approach; whereas, as regards the last, the 'boomerang' or 'patchwork' ESA approach are more common.
