With a diploma in screenwriting I thought this section would be a breeze but was surprised by how rusty/non-existent my knowledge was of the basics! This section taught me that a sentence can be broken down into individual parts or built up using these parts. Therefore the construction a sentence begins to make sense for a learner if the basics are learnt then put together in a logical way.Unit 17 helps to organize teaching tools that can be used in a classroom. Some places it's a little old fashioned, but it still shows a wide selection of tools and also raises awareness of the possible malfunctions and how to avoid them. I found the links very useful to create a starting database that can be used as a beginner teacher to find materials to create lesson plans and activities.
