Unit VII provided an account of the seven most commonly utilized futures tenses (future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, 'going to' future, present simple, and present continuous). This course continues to reveal to me how many different nuances of the english language I take fore granted as a result of english being my native language. For instance, I had never thought much about the distinctions between different future tenses, nor about the usage of different present tenses with a future connotation. I also very much enjoyed the teaching idea of palm-readings, as well as 'escaping the date from hell', these activities provided very light and original activities.
