This final unit focused on approaches to \"troubleshooting\" - i.e., resolving common potential problems that can arise in the classroom when teaching English as a foreign language. These problems include teaching groups of mixed language levels, large classes and reluctant students; usage of native language by students during the lesson; and student difficulties with listening texts. Examples of \"warmers\" were introduced to help establish rapport where needed. Each of the sections also included helpful notes on where potential problems may arise, and how to turn challenges into opportunities (for example, pairing stronger students with weaker students, and appointing group leaders for large classes).
