Unit 10: Video Lessons essentially displayed what a bad lesson looked like (ESA Demonstration Class #1) and what a good lesson looks like (ESA Demonstration Class #2). To be completely honest, I had to skip a lot of the first video because it was just hard to watch. I felt extremely bad for the students in that classroom. They looked like a bunch of deer in headlights. I was shocked to see the same teaching in the second video. I was convinced he was just a bad teacher. However, he actually is a very smart teacher and followed the straight-arrow ESA lesson plan very well and I would say it was very effective. It was hard for me to answer question #20 on this test because I thought it was a great lesson.
