Unit 19 has enabled me to differentiate learners on their abilities, age, purpose for attending the class, and on the amount of students in the classroom. This categorization has granted me the perspective of understanding how to negotiate the mechanics of a classroom, the rules, codes and conduct, behavioral precautions, and the implementation of the English language based on the needs analysis given at the beginning of the lesson. I am now better suited to address children as students, on an individual as well as group level. I am also better suited to address the gamut of adults, whether they are a range of beginners with an academic interest, or business students looking to further their vocational goals.
