The 20th and last unit of this course taught me about common problem situations in the classroom and how to handle them. The first class itself can be a challenge and it is important to establish rapport and get to know the students needs, levels and interest to prepare future lessons. Other common challenges a teacher probably will meet is when students in a class are on different levels, large classes, the use of native language - or avoidance of English, reluctant students and difficulties with listening skills. All of these situations were described in this unit and solutions and tips on how tho handle and approach them were provided. The use of warmers was also recommended for encouragement of the students.
