This was an excellent unit intro. I have learned much from the basics and find myself thinking back to my high school days of how each teacher would assess the class and which style they would prefer to choose over others, and how this benefitted the activities we would do together. The information presented was mostly factual, and therefore they were allowed more flexibility with the activities they'd choose. For example, creating debates or class discussions that would allow us to reflect on what we learned and which thought processes they would evoke specifically; examples: world history, government, psychology. Even though this is English training, much of the presentation on how to learn it is also similar.
