I enjoyed that this course helped me get the different tenses more clear because I could compare it to the present tenses. The different tenses make more sense now and I can understand better why we use certain tenses at certain times and then we make it past, present, or future based on the context of what we are saying. I am looking forward to having this click in my mind more with the future tenses as well. Again, I think what is important here is for students to get as much practice as possible. I think it would be very valuable for students to do many compare and contrast type of activities with the tenses to give them that experience with understanding what is the most appropriate tense for a given situation.
