Having taken pedagogy classes in the past, a lot of this information was not new, but it was a good refresher. In particular, the explanation of each role a teacher can take was interesting because we sometimes get stuck in our ways and forget that there are other methods to teaching which may benefit our students. I have been both a teacher and a student, so I am well aware of the characteristics that make ?good? students and ?good? teachers. I really appreciate that there is specific information about adult learners and younger students because I am interested in staying in the college setting, so comparing the two allows me to think of different situations I may experience when I teach English.
