Teaching business English - either to a specific target group or to someone at a one to one class - is never an easy task. Because most of the clients are usually more mature, they have several different backgrounds that at the same time can add to the quality of the class, but it can often affect their learning rates, as they can be more hard-headed on accepting some types of exercises. In my experience, I found teaching private classes to executives turned out to be more rewarding and less stressful, for me and for the learner of L2. Thus, nowadays, if I am hired to teach in a company, I will firstly set one rule: I will divide the groups I will teach and in exchange I offer the employer a discount and quicker results.
