This unit covered the different structures of past tenses that are used in reference to the time-frame of the action. The unit covered four different past tenses: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. These different tenses had very similar principles/rules that were used for present tenses. For example, all the continuous tenses employ \"to be\" and \"-ing\" of the verb. I personally believe students might benefit from a chart that clearly separates and outlines the individual tenses in order to better study and grasp the concept. The unit also went into detail about the common errors students make with each of the tenses and provided examples of activities that would help them practice.
