This unit had a lot of really good tips for how to use authentic materials, create your own materials, and find good resources. The note that there are basically two approaches to writing texts for Business English - systematic grammar and then applications, or application-based grammar - was interesting, and I thought the comment that you will probably wish to try both and gauge the effectiveness of the results for yourself was helpful. The guide to making the lesson plan was helpful. I think it will be useful to remember both points when making a lesson plan: it should be detailed enough that a substitute teacher could follow it at a moment's notice; it should be flexible enough to allow for adjustments during the lesson.
