This unit was about using tests and the various types of tests that are used and when. It went over when tests are used and what are used as well as external exams for use of evaluating a student's English abilities. I found that this was useful as it helped with determining what type of test to use when and how to present it to the students that I will be teaching. It was also nice to see an example test as I will most likely be designing the test myself. It will also be nice to know that I can give out practice tests and diagnostic test to help determine a student's individual ability. It also stressed the reading and writing tests are just as important as listening and speaking tests and tests that focus on grammar as well.
