From this unit, I learned the various roles of teaching that an individual may employ and utilize when teaching; these roles each serve distinct purposes and should be utilized when appropriate. This lesson discusses when, and why, each role should be assumed by the teacher. Even when operating in the seemingly correct role, a teacher may have difficulties with their student base; this lesson also teaches how to evaluate the 'personality' of a particular student base and adjust one's lesson accordingly. If an individual is able to assume the proper role and adjust their teaching to fit their student(s), they are able to be a more effective teacher, enabling their student(s) to become better educated in a most efficient manner.
