Several EFL methodologies were defined. An effective methodology known as the ESA process was explained in detail. This methodology is the one this course is based upon. The ESA approach is known to meet the necessary conditions to motivate, to expose students to, and provide opportunity to use the new language within the classroom. The ESA methodology is comprised of three elements: Engage, Study and Activate which when combined provide a balanced range of learning activities. Teaching techniques and classroom activities shown to increase student interest and productivity were explained. Careful considerations are described for providing feedback and making corrections in order to enhance the best learning experience for students.
