In this unit, I learned how to maximize the effectiveness of eye contact, gestures, student groupings and classroom set up in order to ensure the classroom runs smoothly. As a licensed teacher in the United States, I learned many of these strategies already in my methods course; however, I liked how this unit divided the topics, which made it easier to process the material. The section I found most helpful was the ways to avoid unnecessary Teacher Talk Time (TTT). It is helpful to plan out instructions beforehand in order to ensure I use simple, appropiate language and do not overelaborate. I also learned about different seating arrangement I can use with the different \"Activate\" and \"Engage\" activities I learned in the last unit.
