This unit was very simple and succinct, but necessary. Tests and evaluations are just as important to students as they are to teachers, as long as they're used properly. It helps students keep track of their progress, it builds confidence when they compare their results to their knowledge of the target language when the learning began, and it more surely and clearly broadcasts their strengths and weaknesses. Teachers need that information to know what to provide the students for further learning. It gives teachers a better idea of how to work on accomplishing the goals the students set for themselves. This information can also be used to improve how the teacher teaches and how to plan future lessons to accommodate the students' growth.
