I now have a better understanding of Grammar and how to teach it more effectively. By breaking down each category into sections and sub sections it is much easier to understand how to use the words in different situations. An example of this is Nouns with different types categorized as common, proper, compound, abstract and collective. By providing an example and explaining why it is used in that manner makes it easier to understand how it should be used. I now have a better understanding of Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs and Pronouns. I have also learned some terminology of some words that I didn?t know before such as Articles and Gerunds. I knew how to use them but I didn?t know the terminology used to describe these words.
