As a teacher, I believe it is beneficial for both us and the students to not only be able to grasp the students' attention but to make sure that they have fully comprehended the lesson. Learning something that is completely foreign to them or something that they are not usually exposed to in their daily lives, can somehow appear as intimidating. It is our role as teacher to help break down language and grammar into a level where they would feel capable of excelling in it. This chapter has done a great job on differentiating grammar, their functions and structures and how to tackle them all differently. At the same time, put them together cohesively so that the students could apply all their knowledge not only in school but also in their lives.
