In this unit, I learned several ways to engage a student in the classroom to promote maximum language absorption. It is important for students to be able to have the platforms to test their own knowledge without teacher interruption since not all students have the privilege of practicing English everyday. These set of games are tools for testing self knowledge of English. Elicitation is a great example of one, and other games like \"I'm going on holiday and I'm going to take...\" are great because it gets a personal answer from the student, especially when the questions elicit emotional responses. I also learned about correcting a student in this unit-- there is a technique to it. It is important to use the technique so students stay motivated.
