There are many different methods in teaching of the English language. But some of them are not as great as ESA because it's a combination of these methods: e.g. PPP, Communicative Language Teaching, Community Language Learning, Task-based learning and Task-based Learning. I also have learnt about different variations of ESA and many interesting and useful information about teaching of different levels and when and how to correct the students or it is better for them to do it on their own. As for me, I always use Communicative Language Teaching and other techniques because all students want to communicate with other people but not to read and write but it also depends on the students? goals and their level. Teachers should be quite flexible.
