This Unit dwells upon various means of managing classes which include proper use of the voice, gestures, eye contact, students' names and the board. It also goes into students' grouping and classroom arrangement strategies, teaches how to give individual attention and instructions, establish rapport, maintain discipline and find balance between Teacher and Student talking time effectively. This Unit has made me think over my class management techniques and give more thought and attention to small details such as using students' names at the end of the question to keep the whole class alert, not giving instructions while writing on the board, or using the same set of words for giving instructions rather than simply repeating instructions multiple times.
