Evaluating student progress and language levels can sometimes be tricky but it is made easier though tasks such as guided discussion and testing. Teachers can guide discussions with the students to see if their current teaching methods are either too difficult or if some lesson points haven?t been given enough coverage. Testing enables the teachers to see at what levels their students are with the knowledge they already know, if students have retained what they?ve been taught so far, if lessons should be created to boost areas of difficulty, and to gauge how prepared students are for certain external examinations.
