The intention of this unit was focused on observing two different styles of teaching and engaging students. One video lesson was an example of what not to do while the other clearly demonstrated what a good lesson should look like. I found this extremely helpful as I was able to put a lot of the reading done so far into visual context. It was more practical and provided opportunity to see a lesson in action; not only a good lesson but an unsuccessful one as well. This allowed me to be able to compare and clearly showed what I would need to do if I were to teach this lesson or any language lesson to English Language Learners.
