Unit 1 covered the general basics of teachers and students. I have learned from this unit all the different types of roles a teacher can play and it's effects on the students. Also, the unit covered the different types of students and their characteristics which often decides whether they will be good English learners. I learned a teacher must have knowledge and awareness of every situation and be prepared for it while teaching ESL.
