In this section the discussion of the present tenses described 4 different \"versions\" of the present tense, including describing actions that are in progress literally, \"I'm eating\" and more less literally \"I'm reading a great book right now\". Also the perfect tenses are introduced and explained. Overall, the rules must really be understood by the instructor because there are various exceptions that can be confusing, for example, when using the progressive is appropriate, and when it is not. For example: I'm reading, can you come back later. But I believe instead of I'm believing. Additionally, the irregular forms of the perfect tenses of the verbs is an exhaustive list and students simply need to memorize. Overall, role playing, interviews, and guided conversations. The notes/explanations in this section were clear and complete. I feel that I could utilize the examples and explanations easily in explaining the various uses of the 4 present tenses.
