This is the last unit on grammar in the course. It focuses on modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice. Modals are used Before other verbs to add meaning to the main verb. Modals can express ideas such as ability, advice or obligation. The unit outlines different ways to teach modals such as roleplay, rules and guessing the meaning of traffic signs. The passive voice is also covered in this unit. The passive voice is used when the focus is on the action but it is not important or known who or what is performing that action. This unit also focuses on relative clauses and phrasal verbs. I feel that I have learned appropriate methods to teach these grammar rules to students and how to set out handy charts for them to understand.
