This unit focused on the pros, cons, and differences in coursebooks and lesson material. It was good to learn about authentic and created materials. This allows me to start gathering authentic material from my work to bring with me to use with me students. I work as a registered pharmacy technician and I will be teaching english to medical students in China. I can start gathering relevant articles from home to supplement my lessons in China. I liked the demonstration where you show and picture and have the class come up with a story. I can see that working for my future students - counselling, answering patient questions, diagnosing in English, etc.
