This was a short lesson, however just as useful as the others. It provided good insight on how to use a coursebook moderately, and how to approach a classroom with no materials whatsoever. I always enjoy that these units give us actual resources to use in the classroom but also give us places to go for additional resources. It seems that the best idea in teaching english to a classroom is to provide a textbook but still use several supplemental materials. I have always enjoyed having a textbook as reference material. However, things always seem to "stick"" better when there are creative activities to help retain information."
