Unit seventeen covered equipment and teaching aids. The equipment and teaching aids discussed in this unit were: white/black boards, interactive white boards, overhead projectors, visual aids, worksheets and work cards, cassette recorders, CD players, videos and DVDs, video cameras, dictionaries, course books, photocopier, computers and online resources. All these mentioned will assist the teacher in preparing and delivering a good lessons. The choice of teaching aid will depend on context of the lesson.Before this lesson, I knew of the general concepts of the conditional and reported speech, but I hadn't thought about them in these specific terms, nor did I realize that there were 5 different classes of the conditional. So this lesson was helpful in that it spelled out the differences between them and how they can be problematic for English learners. I also did not realize how confusing reported speech can be from the standpoint of a learner, so this lesson was good for showing me these things overall.
