Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

In this unit it talks about the importance of the receptive skills: reading and listening. It mentions that both skills are equally important and that the topics we use to teach must be of the student's interest in order to catch his/her attention. It also emphasizes about some techniques that we should teach our students which are skimming and scanning; these can be used for both skills. I enjoyed reading this unit because it also gave me ideas of how to develop some activities when teaching receptive skills.I am now wondering whether I have better receptive skills or productive skills. I think that, like most people, I have a stronger entertainment than purpose range of motive, but that is not to say that I don't focus on my purpose skills from time to time. I learned that something I have never really noticed before and that is that I never really read anything in full detail, especially when it comes to scientific reports and journals. Reading every bit of a dense paper would be both, unproductive and tiresome.
