This was a very challenging unit. I have always appreciated how difficult it can be for foreigners to pronounce english correctly but did not appreciate the nuances of teaching it. No wonder people shy away from tackling it in the classroom. The unit really did a good job in explaining all the elements of stress and intonation and provided useful visuals to help explain the concepts. I was also unaware of the phonetic table which I found most interesting
