In my opinion, this unit was well explained. The tables helped me understand direct speech conversions. Also, I did find the conditional explanation very helpful since this tense is one of the most difficult tenses for my students to grasp. I liked the way the form and usage of each conditional was broken down and simplified. The time expressions were a challenge to explain to my classes before; however, now, I can feel and look more confident as I am able to explain in my own words how \"Today\" becomes \"That day.\This unit covers conditionals and reporting speech. Reporting speech alters the tense of the sentence while keeping the content the same. Essentially, depending on the tense, it is changed into a past tense equivalent of that sentence. So, for example, if there was a present perfect sentence, it would be changed to a past perfect sentence when reported. If the sentence was already past perfect, it would remain that way when reported. Conditionals are interesting as well, as there are mixed, zero, first, second and third.
